Often. If I find a company to be reliable, I am happy to purchase from them again. I drive Hondas, have Samsung TVs, and some Apple computer products, all because I have found them to be reliable.
For the same reasons as @canidmajor, I have found certain brands that are reliable, well designed, and fit me well. So I wear a lot of Patagonia clothing, some of which is more than thirty years old. I buy Apple products for most, but not all, of my technology. And Ecco and New Balance shoes fit my feet very well.
I’m a loyal customer to Scott’s Miracle Grow. Because they make superior products and are continually doing research to make products better. Like grass that grows slowly and requires less water and nutrients. I must admit that I have invested in MG for many years.
Also I’m loyal to Ford because my Grand Father was and he was a mechanical engineer.
Loyal to a point.
We have almost always had a Toyota of one kind or another. When in the market for a new truck I wanted a Tundra but could not justify the additional cost when matched against Fords with the same features.
On foods, not so much, what is on sale this week.
Beer: Sierra Nevada is my fall back beer that I will buy if nothing else is on sale that strikes my fancy or taste buds that day.
Looking at it I would say that I have favorites but nothing to the point of exclusion of all other offers.
Sure. I won’t buy a Samsung phone, I’ll prefer Motorola.
I only buy Heinz Ketchup.
I used to be loyal (25 years) to Chevrolet, but maybe not so much anymore.
I only buy HP printers when I need them
Toilet paper, on the other hand – I don’t; care.
@elbanditoroso Odd, I buy Samsung phones, but only because the first “free” one I got was a Samsung and I am too cheap to purchase new charger/cords so I buy the same thing to keep from doing it.
Oh, and I guess I have one loyalty and that is to Royal Caribbean. They have been good to us since we started cruising about 16 years ago. I have heard bad stuff about them but not experienced any. I have friends who have experienced bad things with MSC and Carnival and their experiences have had an influence on my decision (but by the same token I know folks who will only use Carnival). There are other cruise lines I would consider but it is hard for them to compete with RC and all the perks we receive for our loyalty.
I’ll never buy another SHARP product. I bought a 32” HDTV when they first came out and mine had a problem. (No VCR of any kind was compatible.) They gave me the run-around but never offered to do any more about it.
I like Nissan pick-ups but the parts are way too expensive and some of the REALLY expensive parts are only available through the dealer. Might go back to a Chevy next time…
I like Smith and Wesson pistols and Winchester rifles.
I don’t buy SNAP-ON, MAC, MATCO tools. When you want to get warranty, and you don’t work in a shop anymore, good luck!
I’ll never do business with WELLS-FARGO bank. Those people are screwy!
When it comes to office supplies and the like, I do business with STAPLES!!! I can’t say enough good stuff about those folks!!!
I am more loyal to a brand if I find out it’s made in Canada,of course it still has to have quality and a fair price.
I only buy gas from Casey’s. I prefer to support a smaller chain instead of BP which is usually our only other option.
I like my Samsung phone and will replace it with another Samsung eventually.
