Have we just had another mass migration to Fluther?

The number of sudden new arrivals in the past couple of days, many of them sounding very young, suggests that another Q&A site has just closed down somewhere. Or is this my imagination?
Do we need a fresh welcome-and-get-acquainted party?

That sounds like a spectacular plan.
I’ve noticed too! Happy to see it. But maybe it’s just because schools are starting to let out for the summer?
Welcome, new folks!
I think that they are the same girl.
Sadly, I also believe this is trolling
Most of the new Q’s seemed like “typical stuff a person pretending to be a young person” would ask. In other words, most likely not real questions. Our answers can be real, because if someone were to look at these questions needing real advice, then that’s good. It just seems a little bit fishy to me.
Realistically, it’s probably a mix of trolling, and new jellies. If you ask a question on Google, you may come across our pond (that’s how I found it.) As more people gain access to the Internet, and more ask Google, the exposure should increase.
Keep in mind that Facebook is alleged to have 2 billion people. Seeing us pick up a few here and there seems plausible.
Keep in mind that Fluther has seen this kind of mass immigration several time before, and it was all around this time of year though I can see that this year’s immigration is bigger than other years. Also most of the newcomers don’t stay for long. Hell, they don’t even read the answers. I think one reason for them to do that, apart from trolling, is that they are teens and they just want teeny advice (sugar coating, agreeing with what they think about their situation, answering in a way that they can relate even if it’s utter bullshit…) rather than mature and honest advice.
