Do you have an update to Mexico's considering a two year trial marriage?

I have noticed that in spite of efforts to make relationships less permanent, children are as permanent as they ever were. So, I’m not sure I get the point.

@snowberry Sorry try this link I’m just curious; not promoting it. You can always google Mexico’s considering a two year trial marriage and see if it comes up.

@snowberry Given how many marriages end before the first two years, maybe we shouldn’t be putting so much social pressure on married couples to get straight to making babies. And to that end, the existence of trial marriage laws might actually encourage couples to hold off for a bit.

And as for babies born out of wedlock, that’s nothing new and is therefore neither here nor there for the purposes of this question.

I can’t find any articles after 2011, and those articles say that Mexico is considering trial marriages. If the laws were voted on and passed, there would certainly have been news articles for it.
