I like veggie the best, nothing weird.
sometimes pineapple chunks
Seafood sometimes, or pepperoni.
Not that I think is weird. I have enjoyed:
red & white sauces
various cheeses including goat cheese
garlic
tomatoes & sun-dried tomatoes
basil
various meats (chicken, pepperoni, sausage, salami, prosciutto, linguicia, Canadian bacon)
artichoke
mushrooms
black olives
spinach
arugula
red & green peppers (in moderation)
onion
pineapple
pesto
The weirdest pizza topping I’ve seen recently was French fried potatoes. That was in Venice…
Well, since someone else has already extract the cockroach’s milk (see that question), you could put the cockroach carapace on the pizza. Nothing goes to waste!
Not really weird, but uncommon: Linguisa
White pizza with clams, garlic, onion, some thin cut green peppers, Parmesan cheese, and crispy bacon.
@Tropical_Willie I love that! Pizza Guys in Concord makes a dynamite white sauce pizza!
As long as it is stuffed crust I don’t give a fuck.
Vegan soycheeze. (Does that count as “weird?”)
^^^^yes, vegan soycheez is weird, it is an abomination.
@RedDeerGuy1 you really need to tell us what you think is weird. One man’s weird is another’s delicacy.
@zenvelo I think peanut butter and salsa toppings are weird. I like ham and pineapple on my pizza. Some people think that pineapple is weird.
I eat plain most of the time. If I get toppings I like sausage (sliced Italian sausage is best) or mushrooms. I like eggplant too, but it’s not always offered.
I get pepperoni if everyone else eating wants it. I used to not like pepperoni on pizza, but I’ve grown to like it ok. I often pick it off and eat it separately.
Mac and cheese
Chocolate (dessert pizza)
Artichokes and roasted red peppers.
I’m not sure if that is considered weird or not.
@gorillapaws Not weird. They serve Artichokes and roasted red peppers by the slice in café mondos in Jasper national park.
Not right now.
And never cock roach milk!
Nothing as weird as anchovies and pineapple.
We use to get a Cinnamon Apple pie dessert pizza at the restaurant around the corner. We would walk over and get a pepperoni and sausage (extra cheese) in a box and carry it back with a small apple pie in a box on top. Drink Chianti wine with both.
I read an short article last week that suggested using two pieces of pizza as the bread for a sandwich. Sounds delish!
Broccoli?
I’ve been told a couple of times that it’s weird, only I don’t think it’s weird at all. It’s delicious!
Cockroach cheese, and goat cheese.
Oh. My bad Patty….
I’ve had broccoli on a pizza before. It was great. It makes me gassy though. So, no broccoli if I have a bed mate…
I don’t think this is weird, but I love Greek pizza. Gyro meat, feta cheese, kalamata olives, spinach, fresh tomatoes and onions.
We have a type of pizza fairly regularly: grilled naan bread topped with hummus, paprika, tomato slices and feta cheese. Pop it back under the grill until the cheese browns, and serve it with a side salad.
If it is a traditional style pizza, I like anchovies and green olives.
