What is a easy way to get tenure?
So one can say what comes to mind, and have no consequences? Any form of tenure or tenure like freedom?

You might want to define your context. “Tenure” applies to a number of circumstances.
@canidmajor I’m not sure how to define it. I’m originally thinking a professorial positon. Or parliamentary privilege. The freedom to say what one wants on the edge of society without being punished. Like when I talk about psychic time travel instead of being drugged up and locked away be able to publish or speak about it.
I think what you are looking for is…..what is an easy way to get rich. The rich have more rights and privileges. Perhaps unspoken, but they certainly do. Especially in the things you are worried about.
You cannot get something like that without working for it. Stop looking for “the easy way.”
The hard way is a PhD program for 7 or 8 years and then teaching in a university for about 6 years in a competent capacity.
It seems to me that if you are only looking to be in a position where you can say what you want with no consequences you have that already.
You go to school, pay attention to your studies, work through a program to get a doctorate. Then work as an adjunct professor and publish your research in your field.
Once you have demonstarated expertise and have put some time in, you may get tenure and added to the faculty. Then you can speak your mind as long as you don’t say something offensive or discriminatory or otherwise misbehave.
Good news! You can make any outlandish statements you want right now (staying clear of libel).
I don’t know what protections are provided by academic tenure. If someone makes racist remarks, they can be terminated in the interests of the school. If you worked at a school and got attention for talking about your time travel adventures, it would also put pressure on the school to get rid of you in order to maintain their reputation.
What kind of protection are you seeking here and from whom?
@imrainmaker Just looking for different groups to join that won’t call me delusional when I talk about parapsychology or esoteric subjects or psychic time travel.
