I’ll be there for two nights and it makes sense for me to stay at an airport hotel if I have easy access to the city.

There is a subway/light rail system that runs from SeaTac airport to downtown. It is clean, not expensive, and easy to use.
Super easy. Make sure your hotel can get you to the light rail station.
It takes about 20–30 min.
From the airport to downtown is now fairly easy with the light rail train mentioned, but you’ll probably end up taking a hotel shuttle to the airport to get to the light rail station, which will tack on however long that takes.
It couldn’t be very hard, I drove it by following signs.
@Zaku Yes, I figure that will be the case. Am going to ask the hotel when I book.
One thing about Seattle. You will never lack for coffee downtown. There are more coffee shops per block in Seattle than in any other city. Not all of them are good.
^ I’m sure! I’ll post another question for sightseeing advice closer to the trip.
Will you have any time to get out of town? Or will you be pretty much in Seattle proper the whole time?
I’m actually spending the week in the San Juan Islands and just ending up in Seattle at the end for a few days.
The annoyances of call center reservations. When I asked the employee how far it was from the hotel to the light rail, he said 6 miles. On the Web site it says they are right across the street!! I guess Hyderabad doesn’t have all the info in their laundry!
Radisson – I’m sure the Web site is the correct info.
Yes. It’s a 0.4 mile walk north up the road to the light rail station.
