The Appliance Service Center is probably a temple and repository of knowledge constructed near the site of the “Supreme Laundromat” to archive information generated within the laundry. For understandable reasons, the true nature of both the laundry and its Appliance Service Center adjunct are hidden from public perception. It is speculated that the laundry was established by intellects far surpassing human capabilities, while the Appliance Service Center was erected by inferior human intellects initially to coordinate data from the laundry in hopes of solving those riddles around the kidnapping of the Lindberg baby. It makes sense that our own master librarian would spot both edifices for their true nature.
