Does your Keurig coffee maker eliminate the delicous aroma of morning coffee?

We were given a Keurig as a gift. We had been using a 15–20 year old 10–12 cup Bunn / Mr Coffee type maker. When I would turn that on, there would be the delicious aroma of fresh made coffee wafting in the kitchen when yo walked in. I could make coffee before anyone was up and give them that gift.
This new Keurig works great but it eliminates the aroma. There is no way to have coffee ready for other people as a nice morning gesture.
Does your Keurig do the same?

I’d say that’s true. With the Keurig the smell of coffee doesn’t waft through the house. The person drinking the coffee still gets the coffee aroma from the cup. Plus, we use reusable filters and our own grounds, so when a person makes coffee they get the coffee ground smell, which you wouldn’t get if you just pop one of those pre-made pods into the machine.
I have one of those makers with a drip style on one side and k-cup on the other. We make a whole pot when we have guests and just use k-cups when it’s just us. My sense of smell was bad before but a sinus infection pretty well wiped it out last year. I miss the smell of coffee and a campfire.
We have a Keurig in the office. I am so glad! I don’t like the smell of coffee and now that smell is eliminated.
I prefer drip coffeemakers. Besides the total waste of all the little Keurig containers (unless you get one of the reusable ones), it doesn’t have the depth of flavor of regular coffee. I also don’t like the foaminess. I also love the smell of coffee brewing.
Well, it appears that I am not the only one on the planet to notice and miss this.
I have a refillable k-cup. I fill it with the cheapest coffee (Maxwell House) I can buy.
