Does your Keurig coffee maker eliminate the delicous aroma of morning coffee?

We were given a Keurig as a gift. We had been using a 15–20 year old 10–12 cup Bunn / Mr Coffee type maker. When I would turn that on, there would be the delicious aroma of fresh made coffee wafting in the kitchen when yo walked in. I could make coffee before anyone was up and give them that gift.
This new Keurig works great but it eliminates the aroma. There is no way to have coffee ready for other people as a nice morning gesture.
