I have seen advertisements for meal companies like Blue Plate that send you everything you need to cook a meal. I can only imagine how expensive this would be and wonder how good the food is and do you get enough. Anyone have any info on this?

My good friend, who styles herself as a bit of a New York foodie, has been making three meals a week from Blue Apron. She posts all the pics, and reviews each one.
She likes it a lot, and recommends it highly.
After a few years, there have 9nly been one or two very minor complaints.
A friend of mine also has used Blue Apron. I think it was $60 for three meals but there is also a two meal option now. She liked it very much and each package gave her two portions I believe so she could freeze one.
I’ve been getting two meals a week from Blue Apron, and I really enjoy it.
It is a bit pricey, $51 a week. But it gives you everything you need except olive oil, and it gives me a variety of meals I would not normally cook. Thursday night I had seared steaks with miso butter and marinated bok choy salad, on a bed of sushi rice.
And i’ve also learned some recipes I can adapt on my own.
The portions are good, not too much, not too little.
