“Lyin’ Eyes” by The Eagles
Band on the Run by Paul McCartney and Wings, from 1973.
“What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell. Every time I hear the song, I’m captivated.
The list is endless….
– The long and winding road.
-Bohemian Rhapsody.
– I will survive….........
I agree Zephyra…trying to narrow it to one is tough.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Stairway to Heaven
Freebird
Dreams
on a lesser known-but-songs-I-Like area
Play that Funky Music
Lazy (by Deep Purple….love the guitar intro)
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Kashmir by Led Zeppelin
@Kardamom I’ve done it again. I always sang that as “Man” on the run.
There’s a couple hundred favorites from that era. I’m humming the Eagle’s Hotel California today.
Pretty much anything by Paul McCartney and Wings during the 70’s era:
Venus and Mars
Maybe I’m Amazed
Uncle Albert
Let ‘Em In
Live and Let Die
Hooked on a Feeling. I want to meet the musician who said, “Ya know what this song needs? It need some ooga-chacka.”
Many faves! Earth, Wind and Fire songs come to mind.
The Spinners.
