What long term damage can come from a tazer to the forehead ?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24987points) July 28th, 2018

The old fashioned cordless one? Like a cattle prod. I am wondering if it could cause (TLE). Temporal lobe epilepsy. It happened in August 25, 2000. My time travel started then. Could my brain be scarred?

I think I’m okay.

But since this a general question, I think you are right about Temporal Lobe Epilepsy or even worse damage. The brain and unexpected jolts of electricity sounds permanent

I found this article Do you suffer from TLE?

YOU GOT TAZED ON THE FOREHEAD??!

After reading an undetermined number of your questions, I am more stunned than ever that you are alive.

@Patty_Melt Yes. In university in August 25, 2000. At the bridge crossing. Some jerk just walked by me and tazered me in the forehead. My ex-girlfriend was with him at the time. He was taller than me and built. For a time I though it was someone I knew but I didn’t get a good look at him.

Please ask your doctor this question…
without delay.
There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.
You have been seeing doctors for years. Explain what you have read, and what you don’t understand, and ask if there is enough comparison to make testing a next step.
The tests won’t hurt, if you do have any.

@Patty_Melt On Wednesday 24th July, I told my doctor. From that he wants to try a new medication and see him next week. He might recommend me to see a neurologist.

Stay on it.
Follow through with whatever comes next.
If I had been more persistent with my doctors, I might have proper treatment and a real diagnosis sooner.
Not knowing hurts.

@RedDeerGuy1 . Is this the same bridge that you fought the really tall cop? Yes. I have been following your story.

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

@MrGrimm888 Yes. Might be the same person. The same week. Memory is swiss cheese. That would explain why he tazed me without provocation. I tossed his ass off the bridge. It all might be the same day. To me it was the same time but time traveled the same day over and over . I ended up just nodded to him and he nodded back. I thought that it was my ex-friend polymorphed to a tall guy. My ex-gf would know more . She crossed the bridge at the same time with the tall guy.

So. In different universes (maybe) and not just traveling time? Or maybe just switching universes?

How many people have you thrown off of that bridge, do you think? Are there any positive things that have occurred on this bridge, or just negative experiences?

I think the positive here is recognizing where certain issues began, and following a possible solution with a doctor or two.
If the result is to get some solid answers once and for all, then it could mean a more reliable home dimension at last.

I am quite hopeful.
