Do you play a musical instrument?
How long? How do you assess your skills?
If not, is there one you want to learn to play?

I have played guitar, and bass since I was about 15….
I’m mediocre on bass. I’ve been told I’m decent on lead guitar…
I have rudimentary piano skills. I know the scales, I know some chords, and I can play a basic tune. But I never got “good” because I didn’t take enough lessons. I regret it now. I’m eternally jealous of people who can play the piano well.
I play the “magic flute”, iykwim.

^Lol. I don’t think females are capable of being content…
^^ It is what causes us to press our offspring to change and grow.
I played flute long ago. Came to realize music was not my art form.
We’ve made it a family tradition to play out fired housestaff with a guard of honour each of us whistling dixie using the pipes of pan…truly haunting & magical.
I play banjo, guitar, ukulele, all with varying levels of competency. Piano badly.
I play the guitar badly—not cover your ears bad, but a talented guitarist would know that I’m far from talented. I still enjoy it and play for my own satisfaction. I love the way you can feel the sound from an acoustic guitar radiate through your body when you’re playing. It’s a pretty cool sensation, almost spiritual.
I can play some chords on guitar, only well enough to entertain little kids.
I played flute decades ago. I get it out a couple of times a year, and I don’t play well enough that I would want anyone to hear it.
@gorillapaws . I couldn’t agree more. I love acoustic guitars. Spiritual, is a way to articulate the feeling.
I’m a bit disappointed there aren’t more musicians here.
Clarinet and alto sax.
Ukulele at the intermediate level, playing chords above the fifth fret and playing for the public (free for convalescent homes and libraries).
