How often do you reflect on the way you look at life?
Are you aware of being overly optimistic/pesimistic?

I reflect on my outlook on life on a daily basis, part of my morning meditation. I am not overly optimistic or pessimistic, but I am generally positive.
TBH I’m big on self-reflection as a way to improve myself and others. I’m a plan for the worst, hope for the best kinda gal. But bad things happen to good people and in that way, I’m a fatalist I suppose.
ALL the time! EVERY day. I’m 64! I don’t have a lot of time left… (snicker)
Self reflection I do a lot of, not just about how I feel about my life and experiences, but how I seem to others.
Generally, I think I am a cynic, and I am never an optimist. A lot of people say I am a very nice guy but people complain that I never say positive things or give encouragement. If I say anything that could be misconstrued it generally is taken far out of context.
There are NO experiences in my life that I regret or would do over. But there are things I wish I HAD done, risks taken. I wish I had Gone to college earlier, moved to Nova Scotia when I was 19/20 and taken a few more risks with relocation, actively pursuing goals,
There are still some fulfilling goals I might pursue but remain bogged down in things that I accomplished but really don’t care about anymore. Since they involve other people, I tend to put them first.
Would like to be more energetic, mentoring, and proactive.
Practically never – well, maybe once a year.
I’m happy with the choices I made and see no great reason to rethink them with every change in the direction of the wind.
There’s no time. Too much time is required in criticizing the reflections of the rest of you.
Often, but not a whole lot about optimism vs. pessimism.
I tend to be an optimistic realist!!! I usually see the reality of most situations while also living with my “glass half full” mentality. I’m constantly readjusting the way I see life & tend to have a LOT of those “ah-ha moments”!!!
