What should I know about cooking frozen beef long ribs in a crock pot?

I am just using water. I have ketchup salt and pepper if needed.

Be patient. If they are frozen now, the ribs will not be edible tonight.

I personally would use a marinade or a barbeque sauce. Just water will taste horribly bland.

@elbanditoroso Ok I will put in oven instead. I put salt and pepper on. Thanks.

Tasted ok. Put half back in fridge.

No water is necessary. Wash the meat and put it in the crock. Season it with just about anything other than ketchup. I know…...if you like ketchup go ahead. I can’t even imagine. You don’t need to add water. If the ribs are tough (I’ve never ever had beef ribs), you might want to do them in the oven. Halfway cover with vinegar, cover, and bake for about 1.5 hour. Turn and bake another hour. Take out and put in a fresh pan, season with bbq sauce and bake uncovered for 30–45 minutes. Good luck

That is how I do pork ribs in the oven…..I’m assuming it would work for beef.
