The first time the slime was poured, it was actual gross moldy old used food. Originally they meant to dump leftover waste food with water added. Then the show was delayed for a week & the ingredients had molded during that time. Due to time constraints, it was dumped anyway & the viewers loved it so much they decided to keep the slime in the concept; but, decided to make a healthier slime. That’s when they came up with the idea to use…

1) Green gelatin dessert powder
2) Flour
3) Water

And as they always say…The rest is history!!!
