It would so totally depend on the circumstances. You probably don’t realize they have rape on their mind until they put their hands on you. When someone much bigger and stronger has their hands on you, fighting you, it would be difficult to reach any particular weapon.

If I heard someone breaking into my house, and hoping that I wasn’t paralyzed with fear, I would assume that someone was coming in to rape or harm/kill me. I would shoot them if I was able to grab my gun.

I would brandish a firearm if there is time and if said intruder does not do a 180 and run for the door then while unfortunate, I would be left with no choice but to shoot. If they’re armed then I would hope there is time to react if I’m even awake. I would hope my security system would go off and alert me but nothing is fool proof.

I’d shoot. It doesn’t have to be life-threatening. I’d aim for the foot or leg.

Not only would I, I would start at his ankles and work my way up.
I have injured several men in my life, shooting one who has intentions of harming me would not be an issue for me.

There have been two people who attempted to enter my house while I was in it; the back door in a gated back garden. My housemate owned a gun and had shown me where he kept it, but the thought of getting it and threatening either of the intruders didn’t even enter my mind. Had I done so, it would have been pointless. Neither one of them had any intention of harm.

I support gun control and stricter laws, too.
