Which type of blood pressure reading will you go with the automated or manual one?
In many cases they might show different readings when taken simultaneously. What is your experience?

Automated. Having a human do it means depending on an inconsistent measurer – the nurse taking the BP reading.
I bought one of those nice wrist cuff BP kits & it works well!!! You just need to remember to have both feet flat on the floor & hold your wrist up & over your heart. It works as well as the doctors office readers. I also have one of those finger Oxygen sensors. I don’t frequent my doctor’s office & I like to verify that I’m holding my own!!!
Pick one and stay with it – Segal’s law: With one watch you always know that time it is. With two you never know.
The auto version is best for most people because you’re more likely to take frequent readings. Collecting lots of data over time is preferable.
Me, I like using the stethoscope and hand pump, because I like understanding the physical mechanism. It’s like an acoustic piano vs a Casio keyboard. But I’m in the small minority on this.
The manual one. Tried and true, never fail!
I had my BP checked once by an automatic one and it just kept going and going…
