In the recent New York Times explosive opinion piece on the Trump Administration, isn't it more important to address these concerns rather than supply Trump with another diversion by concentrating on a witch hunt?
By going after his Administration he is not addressing the doubts that people have in his leadership and thus he diverts media attention on his witch hunt instead talking of treason when he himself was accused of that very thing during his campaign a couple of years ago.What is your thoughts on this?

I’m not sure I understand what it is you are asking.
While I appreciate what he is doing, I am more concerned that someone who wasn’t elected is now controlling crucial operations. This is how “deep state” rumors rise.
The only way Trump can address the doubts about his leadership is by being a good leader but that isn’t going to happen.
How can you address one and avoid another?
Basically I said that instead of addressing the problem of his administration not trusting his decisions , he chose to do a witch hunt to find out “who ” sent the letter about it?
A good leader would recognize that he has not the trust and ask why and what he has done or not done to correct this mistrust in his leadership.
That would be a mature leader.
Instead he diverts the public’s attention on getting the informant?
He is NOT a good leader. He will never do the right thing.
In my opinion the writer of the op-ed is no hero. The things that are admired in the letter are contributing to hobbling the economy (tax cuts=BIG deficits in this case) and trashing the environment (deregulation). I’m not sure what has been avoided by the malfeasance (not doing the job hired for) of the writer but the things “accomplished” suck.
The writer and the whole staff should be working for the benefit of all citizens of the U.S. and they are clearly not.
@dabbler
Hmmm perhaps the writer is working ‘for Trump” ( or his Admin) since Trump stated that the New York Times were not doing good economically?
Since the effect is to cause a diversion while Trump thinks up yet another way to create chaos.
As stated in another post here that Trump knows how to create drama especially for TV viewers of his “Your Fired” show.Something to consider here.
He seems to keep confirming everyone’s worst fears about him. Another tweet about the NFL today? Imagine if the only comment anyone made about the kneeling was, ‘There’s the team, and there is Colin, kneeling, reminding us all that we can do better.’ Like… Just be positive about someone doing something they have a right to do and recognise it for the spirit it is intended. The whole conservative back lash against it is transparently racist. The kneeling players say, ‘I’m doing this because I’m reminding folks that violence is bad and killing folks is bad.’ And white fragility replies,. ‘Oh, he made me think about something hard and made me feel bad when I’m trying to watch my circus and eat my free bread and forget how bad it is in Rome these days. Why can’t he just obey his masters and be a good gladiator.’ Colin isn’t a villain. Colin is reminding us about Jonathan Livingston Seagull. We all need to practice self-perfection. It’s a positive message. If I was a preacher, that’s what I’d tell people. Maybe this answer belongs in a different thread. Sorry for waffling.
Trump is never going to bother with such matters as whether or not there is any truth to the letter. There is only one truth. Trump is flawless and infallible. All reality must proceed from the bedrock of that immutable fact. This letter is therefore beyond mere scandal, slander or betrayal. It’s straight up treason, and must be dealt with as such regardless of those whose disloyalty allows them contrary opinions.
