Rich people dress like they are poor to be left alone and poor people dress rich to fit in. Also who made this quote? Was It me?

I have never realized any situations where it was true.

Poor people generally can’t afford to dress as if they were wealthy. It’s just too expensive to keep stuff up. They would only be able to use wash and wear clothes. They couldn’t afford to send much to the dry cleaner for example. They couldn’t afford fancy cell phones, expensive brand name shoes, club memberships, and so on.
Never heard it. I know Sam Walton and a lot of other rich people that you don’t know are rich because they don’t change who they are based on the bank account statement.
But I know a lot of poor people getting more poor by trying to ‘appear’ rich or well off. Keeping up with the Jones’s is the term we use here in the states for that.
You can dress a salad but a pencil must be lead…uh…I fink.
