Have you, or anyone you are close to, tried EnChroma glasses to correct color blindness/impairment?
I am thinking about these as a gift for a loved one.
Are they worth it?
I’m having trouble linking at the moment, or I would, but they are very searchable.

I’ve wondered the same thing!!! I’ve watched a ton of videos on YouTube about people using them for the first time & some will make you cry. The main thing that I picked up from watching them is that most colorblind people see a different color & learn what “real” color to call it. Many commented that they’d need to learn their colors all over again. The one that affected me the most was a couple who had been married 15–20 years & had several children & the husband had never known that humans have skintone, He just kept grabbing all his family’s faces to look at them real close just in case it was the last time he’d get to see it.
I don’t think it’s just as easy as buying a family member a pair of the glasses as there is a questionnaire that needs to be filled out so they can send the appropriate glasses as there are varying degrees of colorblindness & each person has a specific degree of the blindness.
You might want to start with this video & then look around to find a few others, It was a fascinating experience for me. It made for an interesting Sunday afternoon!!!
