Please tell me where can I get a lamp , preferably online, that is bright as high noon indoors?

You might like this one at Amazon. The brightest is bright enough for me that I can see well up to 10 feet away. The dimmest is soft enough that I can sleep with it on. It’s waayyy under your $250 price limit. It also has 2 USB charging ports, so you can charge your phone while sleeping. I’ve been using mine for about 10 months with NO complaints!!!

Sounds like you might like a full-spectrum light, not just bright limited-spectrum lights.

A halogen floor lamp might get the job done for you.

Update. I got the lamp and installed. Will test at night to see if it is bright enough to read. Going to sleep for a couple of hours first. Im very tired. Been up all night waiting since 2am.

I found this.PowerSmith PWL2140TS Dual-Head 40W 4000 Lumen LED Work Light with Metal Lamp Housing and Telescoping Tripod They are the next step for lighting a apartment. I would like to know if they can work in a apartment without blowing a fuse.

The product description says it’s 120 volt 40 watt; so in my uneducated guess, I’d say you should be safe. It’s been over 20 years since I’ve lived in an apartment & I’ve never lived in an apartment in Canada, so there could be a margin for error included with my statement. I’d think that most apartments would be wired with the equivalent of a house & my house is old & it would run that light without blowing any fuses. Just as soon as you receive the lamp, plug it in to test that I’m correct. IF it does blow a fuse, box it back up & send it back to Amazon. I’m betting that it won’t blow any fuses!!!

Do you want a lamp so bright you have to wear sun glasses to read?

@Dutchess_III Lol. Its too dark too soon. I only have a fww hours to read a day. I want to flip my days and night’s and be productive at night. I would love to binge read a book.

Update: Got customs charge of $72 reversed. Still do not have a bright lamp. I can only read in sunshine.
