Did your Governor, and or Rep, and or Senator change in yesterday's election? What are your thoughts?

My Gov termed out, so I got a new one. We’ll see.
My Rep and Senator stayed the same.
I have to say, my winning Senator leans a lot farther left than I am usually comfortable with, but he is not a grandstander, and he is good for my State. So I have secretly voted for him in the last two elections. I just don’t talk about it at the cookout or football party.

Our Governor switched from a Dem female to a Rep male. Everyone’s pretty happy about it here, she’d been in a long time and was becoming a Dem apologist. It was time.
New Governor. A billionaire Democrat (literally) defeated the billionaire incumbent. Neither one is extremist, I don’t think there will be a big change in governance.
My (slim) hope is that a Democrat can better corral the legislature to address the public pension debt which threatens all other state government functions.
It’s still too close to call; so, we don’t know…yet!!! My guess is that they are going to continue to screw her out of her job; so, nothing is probably going to change!!!
My governor who I really liked (Jerry Brown) and we replaced with a governor I can’t stand (Gavin Newsom).
I was hoping that, as one of the blue-est states in the union, we might finally replace our Republican governor, Charlie Baker, with Democrat Jay Gonzalez, but Baker proved too popular.
Nothing changed in our Senate (Elizabeth Warren was re-elected) but my Representative changed. I live in a deep blue district, so the previous rep, Capuano, was already very far left, but he was replaced with Ayanna Pressley, who promises to be more of an activist. This happened during the primary of course. She was officially elected last night, running unopposed. I liked Capuano just fine but I’m thrilled about Pressley.
The other important items on my ballot were the questions. We upheld transgender rights, which a ballot question had threatened. We will be creating a commission to advocate for overturning Citizen’s United and getting corporate money out of politics. We voted against nurse to patient staffing ratios, which disappoints me.
Yep. I giggled when I read that earlier.
Not sure how I feel about Governor but not happy about Senate. I’m in Wisconsin like @notsoblond is but I’m in an area that’s always been Republican. Glad we have a more diverse government though.
I would have preferred to boot Diane Feinstein, but she’s status quo. I’m am not a fan of Gavin Newsome, but he’s not so onerous that I’m upset about it. I’m glad prop 12 passed. It deals with treatment of farm animals.
Yes! We got a female democrat for governor!!
@Dutchess_lll
Kongrats to Kansas!
I don’t remember the details, but I read an email that seemed to indicate that KS had its own blue wave.
I threatened to disown my kids if they didn’t vote. My son said he didn’t really need the $20 inheritance I was going to leave them but he voted anyway. First time ever!
I wish I had made a bigger deal about voting when they were growing up.
