Which episode of "The Simpsons" is this character in?

Hey everyone!
I remember watching an episode of the Simpsons in which Lisa and Marge both talk to a toy that [I think] Homer gifted to them. The little toy resembled a Jack-in-a-box or a robot I’m not entirely sure anymore, and it kept saying stuff such as “I understand” and nod while the two women were talking to it about their troubles.
Despite this very vague description, any chance anyone knows in which episode I could find this character?

Well. There was a Halloween episode, where Bart turned Homer into a jack in the box. It was essentially Homer’s head on a spring. This new strife taught Homer empathy, and made him a better father. Sort of…

@Madpawn The Halloween episode that @MrGrimm888 mentioned is Treehouse of Horror II from season 3. This clip contains the part where Homer gets turned into a jack-in-the-box. If it’s not this episode, let us know.
