Has anyone heard of a dog owner being jealous of a person close to the dog?

Nope – I’ve never heard of that one. It does seem strange.

Do they live with you or do you live with them?

Everyone loves a friendly dog but the dog should obey one master. Affection is fine.

My ex. She “had” a dog that liked and listened to me better than her. She would get irate if she told him to do something or called to him and he looked at me to see if it was okay. It wasn’t even like I was telling the dog to stay or not listen to her…it really was that he liked me better. I guess if you ever met my ex you would understand why.
