What is the likelihood that a USB drive will be usable after having gone through a wash/dry cycle in the pocket of my jeans?

I had one that did, it was one of the retractable Sandisk kind. Still using it these days.

I’ll give it 90%. Let it dry out fully before plugging it in.

Odds are with you. There are no moving parts. All the components are solid state. As @LuckyGuy writes, dry it out first.

Just washed my flash drive for a second time. Stuck in in rice for a day. Works, no problems….so far.
