Why are robots made of metal?

They are not all made of metal or only metal. My robot vacuum cleaner is mostly plastic with a few metal parts.
With metal robots you only have to worry about them crushing you or shooting you with a death ray; with wooden robots you also have to worry about splinters.
Metal is lighter and stronger than wood or concrete. Plastic isn’t durable enough. Movable joints work better when made, basically,of metal. Electric components, like motors, specifically, won’t shake/vibrate out of their mounts as easily with other products. Metal is easier to repair. Tolerances can be better controlled with metal.

Making them of dead body parts is too stinky. So they had to use metal
