I would imagine so!

No, they augment size but do not replace milk glands

Wouldn’t that depend on where in the breast they’re placed?

Here.

Now this opens up a bunch of other questions. Typically breasts enlarge during pregnancy and nursing. If you’ve had implants….wow.
And it’s usually placed under the pectoral muscle. So….what does that do to the muscle over the years? And what happens to the muscle / chest when they’re removed?

To answer the question, as I have come to understand implants and breastfeeding, no.

See my link. I was surprised to learn they are compatible. I assumed the were placed to the front on the breasts, which would presumably block milk ducts. But they aren’t. Usually they are placed behind the breasts, under the pectoral muscle.
It all sounds awful to me.

No. My daughter has them, and had only minor, normal trouble breastfeeding her kids.

May I ask what normal trouble breastfeeding is @filmfann?

Many new mothers complain about milk production after giving birth.

Well it does freak us out, especially with the first one, when the milk doesn’t come in for a day or two, and when it does it’s not even milk. It’s colostrum. It’s disconcerting even with subsequent babies.
Yes, we are educated on this but it really doesn’t compare to it actually happening. MY BABY HASN’T EATEN IN A DAY AND A HALF!!!!
