For some reason every time I wear lipstick or chapstick and I kiss my boyfriend his lips swell. I know that means he is allergic so I stopped wearing it. But, is there a lipstick, chapstick, or ingredient in those that I can watch out for so I can wear lipstick again?

He would need to be tested to see what he is allergic to.
If I were him, I would consult a medical professional about that. I am not a doctor, but I know that allergic reactions can worsen quite suddenly, causing extreme reactions. It seems unsafe to walk around with an allergy he’s unaware of.
In the meantime, simple vaseline (a.k.a. petroleum jelly) will work as an alternative to chapstick. If you want a bit more colour, try this quick homemade vaseline-based lip gloss.
Okay cool. Thank you guys :D
Do they both have SPF?
What brand lipstick? Do they both have a flavor or fragrance?
Are they both marketed as “natural.”
