What to do on a movie date?

Asked by Comedian (1133points) August 22nd, 2008

So I’m going to the movies with a guy right? I’ve never really been on an official date though. What do guys like girls to do during a movie and dinner? We are seeing The dark knight

Well. If you seeing Dark Knight a TRUE man will wanna watch that movie instead of making out. So you don’t have to worry about that.

Enjoy the movie, laugh together and all that stuff. You’ll probably be aware of him the whole time, and worry whether you should hold his hand or do this or do that, I don’t know about anyone else but I wouldn’t even go for holding hands if it’s a first date. Just try to relax, be yourself, and watch the movie as if you were going with friends. If it’s dinner as well, just make good conversation, ask about the guy and get to know him. Good luck.

Good that you are going out after or before since it is hard to communicate during a movie. Then you can talk about the movie afterwards.

Have fun.

Once, I went to a movie with a very nice girl. I went to put my arm around her (I was generally awkard around women at this point in my life) and accidentally punched her in the head. As long as that doesn’t happen, you’re fine = ]

at first i thought this would be for a guy going on a date with a girl, but since that isnt the case… you should just be yourself and be open to what happens before/during/after the date. Don’t think that just because you’re going on a “date” that everything has to be “lovey dovey” and all “romantic” and stuff.

Enjoy yourself!

Make sure whatever you do is what YOU want to do. Don’t just go along with what he says. Think about what you want. And if he says or does something you like, great!
