Who has stopped drinking grocery store milk and now drink another kind?
I now drink Almond milk or unpasteurized goat’s milk as it is easy to digest. Anyone else make a change? Just hope no one is drinking soy milk….SO not good for you!

I just don’t drink milk at all, it’s gross
I love me some cow’s milk. I’d prefer whole milk, as in right out of the cow, but I’d have to find a farmer who sold it and I’m too lazy for that. My college boyfriend was raised on a dairy farm. When ever we’d go to visit his mom would send us back with a big pickle jar of whole milk. OMG that was sooooo good.
No, I haven’t stopped drinking grocery store milk. However, when I go to Braums I buy a gallon of their milk. It’s better than grocery store milk.
I drank almond milk for a couple weeks but got sick of it. I love two percent milk, though.
@Dutchess_III decades ago I was having a bowl of cereal in some tiny town in a state whose name I’ve forgotten and the milk in it was so out of this world I had to ask about it. The waitress said she didn’t know where they got it but ” a dairy is right up the road. ”
It was uncut milk @Aster. (I don’t know what else to call it…) Now you’ve got me galvanized. I’m sure I can find a diary around here that will sell me unpasteurized, uncut milk.
I’m fairly certain you buy almond milk at the grocery store as well.
Ha ha! Good point @Darth_Algar. And..how do you milk an almond?
I used to drink 1 or 2 glasses of whole milk every day and last year I quit cold turkey. Now I just drink coconut milk, tea, decaf coffee, and sparkling water.
Because cold turkey milk tastes bad.
@rockfan did you quit because of the antibiotics and hormones in the milk? And I hate to think what else.
I love, love milk. I’ve had 2 glasses to day!
I was gaining weight drinking whole milk and also I have a genetic disease where too much calcium negatively effects my health
I see. Yeah, it is pretty heavy on the fat. There are about a hundred calories in a cup of milk…which is as many calories as in a cup of soda pop! But for most people milk has nutritional benefit that pop doesn’t have.
But it’s a good thing you quit then.
I’d quit drinking dairy milk for quite a while because it would make me ill. During that time I used almond milk. But I realized my issue was lactose intolerance and I discovered Lactaid. Now I tend to use dairy again. But I don’t drink much milk, and I don’t put it in my tea or anything (rarely drink coffee and never make it at home). So mostly I use milk for cereal and other dishes that may require milk.
I don’t drink much, maybe a glass a week.
