How often do you think people lick self-adhesive stamps?

Not much any more. It’s been years. And no, I don’t think I have accidentally licked an adhesive stamp.

Just once. Then they realize how stupid they are.

There are some lurverts who have tried to make out with self-licking stamps. Talk about going postal! ;-o

No idea, we have staff for that, although a time & motion study may be in order.

One realizes as soon as you peel it off the backing that it is self adhesive, so I imagine it is a pretty low number who make that mistake.And licking the back of the backing paper one know right away there is no glue to lick.

Right. Plus you’d have to almost be really old school to remember a time when we had to lick the stamps.

I would think almost never. You have to peel them off of the backing. You can feel that they are already sticky, so why would anyone feel compelled to lick them?

No. Not in first class in the US, at least.
