Does it mean not bright but good looking, or something else?

Pretty on the outside with nothing on the inside.
Sounds curvy maybe? A compliment?
Context? Is there a link or something?
Well he may think you a flower vase but better than what he is…a turd.
@flo Why, based on the answers we were all unsure? From a lady teacher, it wouldn’t seem like a big deal to me. If I thought it was weird, I would ask them, especially at school.
…What does it have to do with the anatomy of the person who says does x,y, or z? Is it about anti men?
@flo May I rephrase what I think you are asking for clarification?
Are you asking this:
What features could a vase have that evokes a human body?
As for anti-men, I would say feminism or images evoking femininity are not anti-men, just pro-woman. Imo.
There are several poems about flower vases. Possibly a reference.
@flo You are an odd duck, but you make me think lol
@flo Did the teacher say vahhhz or vayse, or vayzzzz?
Or maybe it was a lesson on Keats:
Ode on a Grecian Urn
BY JOHN KEATS
Thou still unravish’d bride of quietness,
Thou foster-child of silence and slow time,
Sylvan historian, who canst thus express
A flowery tale more sweetly than our rhyme:
What leaf-fring’d legend haunts about thy shape
Of deities or mortals, or of both,
In Tempe or the dales of Arcady?
What men or gods are these? What maidens loth?
What mad pursuit? What struggle to escape?
What pipes and timbrels? What wild ecstasy?
