On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "complete BS" and 10 being "divine wisdom", how would you rate the following statement?
“Probability is a spatial dimension. It is the lateral axis of time.”

5. Every word of it other than “is, a, of (or) the” can be quiibbled over to distraction.
Probability isn’t a dimension and if it were how could it be a spatial dimension in the first sentence and a time dimension in the second? Unless you consider spatial dimensions to be the lateral axis of time in which case Tribble is just repeating the nonsense of the first sentence.
Statement is reading 1 on the spatial axis of the bullshitometer.

It’s metaphorical rather than literal, but it makes sense in a certain context.
It appears to be rated at 1, unless there is some explanation for how probability can be treated as a dimension.
My opinion is at the 1 end, although I don’t hold claim to any special knowledge on the subject.
Zero. Probability of what? It’s a concept that can be applied to lots of characteristics and events. The probability of <what event> could be mapped alongside other relevant <what measurements> on a representation axis – but that is not the same as probability being a dimension.
It’s from a Terran Fortune Cookie!
1, of course.

It kind of fits in with my thoughts that there are other dimensions besides the basic three.
1. height
2. width
3. depth
4. mass
5. time
6. perception
7. velocity
8. direction
Extra conceptual points awarded for that, @LuckyGuy. It may be that my life’s quest is now complete.
@Jeruba Thank you. You can go there for guidance any time.
