What, for you, was the most shocking moment in Game of Thrones so far?
I have a particular incident in mind which I’ll divulge later. In the meantime I’d be interested in hearing your opinions.

Well, considering I read all the books, the show didn’t surprise me. But when I was reading the book it was what happened to Ned.
End of the first episode, first season; a child (if I remember correct) thrown out of a window.
Never watched a minute of it since.
When the dragon rose from the ice as a White Walker.
@rebbel That’s Bran. He survives and becomes an important character much later.
Just how shockingly bad the show is.
@ucme Many of the actors are hot, special effects, monsters….come on! The storyline does get tedious at times, though.
@KNOWITALL Each to their own m’dear, but it actually does stink the place out :D
@AshLeigh I was at Comicon a couple of years ago and I saw a guy dressed as Hodor holding the door. He had the door, zombie hands, and everything. It was frikking awesome
The Red Wedding was shocking to me when I read it. I had already read the book by the time I saw the show, so I knew what was coming. I thought it was well done though. I stopped watching the show after the book material ran out.
When Stannis sacrificed Shireen.
Saw an episode or two, thought it stunk, never bothered to watch again.
The most shocking moment for me was when Jaime Lannister had his right hand chopped off. It was such a brutal and unexpected moment. It seemed almost real as though it happened when the scriptwriters weren’t looking..
When they killed of the biggest star on the show (Ned) or the Red Wedding .
I love this show!
@ucme Send me your address and I’ll mail you Season 5, it doesn’t suck, I promise!
@KNOWITALL Send you my address? Me, the third Earl of Durhamshire? Are you mad woman? :D
@ucme haha, I’m not going to visit, just offering to send it to you. After Season 2 a lot of people gave up on it.
(So I had to look that up, a cathedral town? Cool!!)
<pulling my forelock>
Hey, you can visit if you like, i’d gladly show you around.
We could even climb ye olde stone spiral steps to the top of the cathedral if you’re very good :D
Fun true story, when my son was very young we visited Durham Cathedral & while we were browsing about the place, a priest in full ceremonial dress appeared from behind this grand secret door complete with long dark curtain. My son was holding my hand at the time & on seeing this guy, drew my ear to his mouth & whispered…“was that God?”
So cute, I laughed a little too loud, it echoed around the chamber, much to my embarrassment.

@ucme Only if you order the servants to carry us in a litter, sounds like a lot of stairs, who needs that? lol

Well, my post was modded, not sure why, but the answer to the question was Ned Stark’s beheading. I knew it was coming in the show but it was new when I read the book. I screamed out loud.
@ucme You mentioned in a recent question that you haven’t seen it yet, but here you are saying it’s shockingly bad. Trying to appear relevant?
I was shocked when Jamie pushed Bran out the window.
