Casablanca.. I watched it again on a plane home today.
It’s still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by
The 2005 version of King Kong.
Alien.
What could be more romantic than incubating the egg of your loved one at the cost of your own life?
Jane Eyre, the original.
It is about love between two very damaged people, in different social classes, and they both fought it. At the end she felt him calling for her and went, just a great story and acting.
I opened this question just to see what @ragingloli would say.
Thanks jellies. I have new films to check out. Haven’t seen the original Jane Eyre, Maurice and Outlander.
Have a female friend who loves Outlander.
@Caravanfan, I do agree, so much! I love the story! BTW-The book is SO much better!
Hate to be so dull but I’ll say Sleepless in Seattle.
^^I revisit that film once a year.
@mazingerz88 Orson Wells is Mr. Rochester and is amazing in Jane Eyre….nothing compares to his playing that part.
I used to think Romeo and Juliet was awesome, until I grew up and realized they were, like, 13 and 15 year old child idiots and look at all the people who died for no reason!
So, having said that I vote for The Notebook.
