Do you think Jack Sparrow outmaneuvered everyone at the end of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End"?

In the first 3 films, I mean. I personally think not, since Jack was eaten by the Kraken. It’s rescued, yes, but for bigger issues than his smart plans. At the end, though, he got the happy ending: he steals the map from Barbossa and sets out for the fountain of youth. And, for the purposes of this discussion, I’d prefer rather that You and I talk only about the first 3 movies. They’re not as fluent in continuity as the first three (some details don’t mix up).
