I still haven’t left yet. And it’s been 6 years now.

Wow. I guess the founders left, but community remains! This is success.

I’ve been here about 11 years. And I spend way too much time here.

I enjoy it, yes and generally check the site multiple times per day. I wish we had a larger user base and more questions asked per day (of course I value quality over quantity, but how about both?)

I enjoy it. It’s a very small site, and that shows in the questions and answers we get. I check it multiple times each workday, which is not a problem for me. Some weekends I don’t check it at all, and sometimes I do.

I was on here for about 11 years and then took a break of about a year, and recently returned.

I spend a lot of time looking at the site, but not a lot of new activity is going on. The site is part of my online time-killing routine, along with Facebook and a little ‘gram.

The site used to be way busier. About 8, 9 years ago, there was a lot of activity. A lot of users (Jellies). More questions, more answers. Now it’s very slow. A lot of the people that were on here during it’s heyday I’m friends with on FB.

Every…. waking… moment. I log on about 100 times a day checking the activity for you and updates. I’m loving it.

Why bother logging out?

The only time I do is when I switch to my low-impulse-control account.

I don’t log out. My free time life is flipping channels and accounts.

Been here a little over seven years, and its habit to check in at least once a day.

Politics seem to have destroyed many good friendships here. Some of my best griends are liberals, but here its like waving a red flag at a mad bull. A Groupthink frenzy. Boring and predictable.

I don’t have many conservative people in my life so I do find this place entertaining at times. Many opinions blow my mind. I might spend a total of five minutes here every few days. I use the site to pass time while I’m waiting for my bus or while I’m eating my lunch and occasionally on the weekend if I have a moment.

I’ve been here nine years and have learned a recipe for soup, a new way to connect speakers to my PC and some good books to read and films to watch among many other things. I’m here most dsys.

I’ve been here since 2007 and always enjoyed it. It has always seemed to me that Fluther is usually more intelligent and nice that most other online communities.

Except for the times I’m away or have taken breaks from forums for a bit, I visit most days at least briefly as one of my habitual browsing sites when I’m waiting for something else to happen.

I tend to spend the most time here, however, when I’m procrastinating…

I liked it better before it became an orgy of Trump hating speeches.

@Patty_Melt: During the elections, it was an orgy of Hillary bashing by people who loved Bernie.

Trump trips my switch. He’s harmful in ways that are by no means subtle. And Ms Melt, the fact that there are people who look at the man and fail to see the extent of his defects scares the shit out of me! Honest to God, the realization makes the hair stand up on my arm. In one sense, we’re lucky that he is so inept. I actually believe that he lacks the wherewithall to be considered evil, but there is NOTHING that can be employed in the service of evil to the extent of profound ignorance. I’m not going into my usual diatribe about the man, but there is a reason that skinheads and Nazis adore him, and they are the very reasons that he MUST be bad mouthed and ridiculed at every opportunity. Thank God those oppotunities are never lacking.

@Caravanfan I’m curious. Why do you spend time on a site if you aren’t really enjoying your time? Life is short. Why waste it on something you don’t enjoy?

@Demosthenes Thanks. I am not going anywhere this time. Last time I was chased off by an individual who was basically an asshole to me, but after a few months pause I reminded myself that it just doesn’t matter. There is enough here (barely) to keep me here.

Ironically, even though I align myself with many so-called “liberal” issues, it’s the left wing here who are the worst to me. I’ve never had a problem with conservatives here.

@Caravanfan I think you’re great, even though we don’t agree on every single thing, because you are always respectful. That is sorely lacking in society and on this site.

One thing you helped me realize, is that not all of us are so partisan, we can’t communicate and be friendly with those who think differently.

@KNOWITALL Exactly so. There is a way to disagree and be respectful. Although truth be told, I imagine we agree more than we disagree.

@Caravanfan Probably! You seem more patient now than before, maybe life has slowed down a little? Easier to talk to now, anyway. :)

I am now feeling my age and figured it was time for wisdom to catch up wirh it.
