In some grocery stores I still
see a big magazine section yet none of the people I know read any magazines and I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a magazine being read at a public space.

I read paper magazines when I travel, either shorter train trips into the city or longer distances on flights. I still like the glossy luxury, and different focus in the articles.
It depends on my mood whether I’ll get a cooking magazine or Scientific American or The Atlantic.
All by subscription:
Harper’s
Time
Parabola
National Geographic
Tricycle
The two that I am subscribed to: The New Yorker and National Geographic
I can access the digital copies as well with my subscription, but as with books, I prefer the paper versions.
The Week
The NY Times Magazine
I buy the Maclean’s university rankings once a year. The next is 2019, and I will buy if the opportunity presents itself while I shop.
New Philosopher
Pastel Journal
Cooking Illustrated
And of course whatever’s on the table in the doctor’s or dentist’s waiting room. That’s where I catch up on my popular culcha.
Games Work Of Puzzles.
The New Yorker.
Science News and Scientific American
Private Eye and occasionally New Scientist
National Geographic
VegNews
Sometimes Rolling Stone
Nat Geo and Reader’s Digest
