I was desperately trying to make more money, found a website with comments that it work for them. It was a western union hacking for a small fee. I tried it and got the mtcn code from them. I wanted to know if it’s real so I track the number. Nothing went through and it keep coming up invalid. So I emailed them and they cursed me out and said I wasnt supposed to do that because now my profile been flagged and I cant get the transaction because it came up as stolen funds. I got scared and they say they clear it if I give them more money. I decided to but cancel it and now they keep threatening me and telling me how I will get in trouble with the law. Nothing had happen, but I’m still worried.

Let me see if I understand this correctly: you accepted a job hacking (or attempting to hack) into the network of a major financial institution, and now you’re worried that you might have, legally speaking, floated up Shit Creek?
It sounds like you fell for a scam and they are now trying to extort money from you. If you are really feeling threatened, go to the police although that may get you trouble with them for your attempt at hacking. Do not send them any money or interact with them any more. I would also consider deleting that email account.
Block them from your contacts. Learn a lesson and don’t engage in any foolishness like this in the future. It really doesn’t pay.
Look at the college admissions scandal and how all these rich, famous people are facing jail time. Did it pay for them? Aggravation, legal bills, possible decades in jail for what?
I’m going to suggest that you have probably committed a crime, and fell for a scam that was also a crime.
If you’re lucky, nothing will come of it because the people that will be ratting on you are criminals themselves, so therefore, they, hopefully will be hush hush about it.
Yeah i know what i did was stupid and i shouldn’t have done it in the first place. I was just desperate and wanted to see if i can make easy money. I just been doing research and it stated as long as I didnt try and cash out the stolen funds, I should be fine. Im just now banned from going to western union but i never use it in the first place. This is a lesson for me to learn, if its good to be true, it probably is
Should you be worried? Yes, probably.
