What is special, or rare, for you in technology and or gaming?

Keeping characters alive in detailed simulation / strategy games despite fairly merciless odds. My favorite way to play Illwinter’s Dominions series (a game which is supposed to be a strategy game about pretender gods, their armies, and army-smashing powerful magic and monsters etc), is to play single-player and try to see how long my mortal humans can survive, or even try to keep all the magic and monsters under control.
