What would the political landscape in the US be like once most of the baby boomers are gone and the X-gen are seniors?

Austere. Very austere from paying off the national debt.
Obama is not a baby boomer and he doubled the National Debt (from $10 trillion to $20 trillion).
I’m a Gen X-er myself and I would think we would choose to simplify and much less drama. Just find a solution and get it done. I think many of us would be action-oriented regarding solving real world issues.
