What did you think of the movie Jumanji 2, Out of the Jungle?

Just saw the trailer and didn’t inspire me to watch it. I prefer the original’s narrative style with simple humor and touching dramatic plot points.

Enjoyable dumb fun.
The Rock is always great, no matter how bad the movie is around him.
Jack Black, playing a teenage girl, great.
Kevin Hart sucks, though.
Unfunny hack.
Drags down anything he is in.

I thought it was extremely funny, and I liked the characters.

But I still would have liked to have seen a movie with the same tone as the original

Jack Black as the girl was just a stroke of genius. “Martha! Come see my penis!”
I love how unseriously The Rock takes himself, too.

I liked it, even though it’s really Jumanji 3.
