Now that the lid is off the REAL reason Trump doesn’t want his taxes exposed, is anyone REALLY surprised?
Should we have seen it coming?

I have seen nothing about his current tax situation. The info that was “released” today is old news. Trump went bankrupt several times 20–30 years ago if I remember correctly.
Well, do you really suppose this is the worst of what his taxes will reveal? It’s ALL old news. Stormy Daniels, Trump University, swindling Atlantic City…....
@stanleybmanly Who cares, it’s about as pertinent as Bill and Monica. Live in the now, there’s enough there to warrant concern.
Why do people keep bringing up Bill and Monica as it pertains to trump?
He’s hiding his current taxes for the same reason he hid these older taxes. He’s a fraud. And that is beyond the fact that he is a despicable human being.
You understand. “I am qualified to fly the plane.” “But you exhibit nothing but evidence to the contrary.” “Just look at my record. How about the book with my picture on it— ‘The Art of Flying?’ “
I’m not sure that his billion dollar tax loss is the whole story. I think there is worse yet to come.
Payoffs from Russia, bad debts, fraud, indebtedness to banks all over Europe… I think it gets worse
He would tell you that the billion dollar tax loss shows what a great business man he is, because he got out of paying taxes.
You can depend on it. It is all but unthinkable that Trump might survive genuine close scrutiny. To my mind, Trump could not have made a bigger mistake than to seek the Presidency.
He is a stable genius. Kind of like Mr. Ed.
I was astonished that he even considered running for a second term, but now he’s angling to run for even more than that. I think that the instant he is no longer president he’ll be off to prison and he knows it. He HAS to remain president.
He is like the guy that says he held his breathe for 10 hours, he getting money (oxygen) from somewhere, Putin and the Russian Mafia?
Just one more in the republican line of “I am a business man!” candidates, that fall apart upon closer examination.
Crap, I can’t find it. I just saw a meme that broke it down. For him to lose 1 billion in 10 years, he had to lose $11,400 every hour, $273,000 every day, X amount a week, month, year and so on. I didn’t double check the math but at that end of that it says,
HE’S A FINANCIAL GENIUS!
He certainly gets the award for losing more money than anyone else in America.
Well, his excuse is that it was intentional write-offs for the purpose of tax avoidance.
GA @Dutchess_III And you’re right he could be the BIGGEST LOSER !
“If @amazon ever had to pay fair taxes, its stock would crash and it would crumble like a paper bag. The @washingtonpost scam is saving it!

10:22 AM – Dec 7, 2015” Trump Tweet.
It comes down to an all but open admission that blatantly fraudulent portrayal of yourself and your beliefs is irrelevant to an assessment of your capabilities. That’s a worrisome conclusion to pass around as valid.
This is the same, identical information that was released by the New York Times on October 2nd, 2016.
The New York Times has had this same information since 1995, when they did a very positive article about how Trump was almost a billion dollars in the red in 1991 due to the late 1980s real estate losses—and how he bounced back. Of course, in 1995, the New York Times gave heavy accolades to Trump.
Jesus. Would you PLEASE post some citation @Yellowdog, or quit making things up!

The kid has escaped again. Leave us alone & park your dumb ass in a remedial English class.
From someone who thinks politics is a circus and politicians are the clowns-
If Democrats hope to win anything in 2020, they should start talking about stuff like health care, student debt, and the disappearing middle class.
Just sayin
@josie Why not the obstruction of justice?
It’s going nowhere, and the campaign/election is getting closer.
Whatever. They are all reprobates.
Ask your local GOP elected official, bet you they’re looking behind themselves. @josie
@Dutchess_III The tax information was released in the October 2nd 2016 edition of the New York Times, pretty much the same story as today.
In 1995, the New York Times was lauding Trump as “the Comeback Kid.”
Now, everybody is saying its bad.
^^ Because this ” comeback kid” is now president. US Presidents shouldn’t be filthy mouthed con-men and vain deplorable desperate money worshipping douches.
So your response is, basically, the worst inflammatory and libelous words your mind can come up with. The anti-Trump hysteria has brainwashed a lot of people. In the 1980s and 1990s, Trump was a popular celebrity. Your impression of Trump is from a constant, never-ending media tirade of smear and lies from certain media sources.
As with anything else Trump, there is nothing illegal or even irregular about what happened in the 1990s. Its NOT a new story—it is the premise of the book “The Art of the Comeback.”
The Dems are having to recycle an old story from October 3, 2016 that uses information they previously 23 years ago.
^^Not about being illegal. It’s him being a con-man and a terrible and cruel idiot of a human being which you obviously prefer to represent you and lead you.
In 1994 Times printed an article that said Mermaids are real.
That is why you do not see them anymore nowadays.
@Yellowdog Just keep remembering Hillary and the media when Trump won. It’ll make you feel better.
They are simply terrified it will happen again with all the abortion ‘triumphs’, Kavanaugh, hearings, biased media, illegal immigration, etc.. I think its a valid concern.
