I feel like almost everything has worn out. I used to be interested in seeing model homes and decorating my house. I used to watch politics daily. I used to care about eating very yummy meals at restaurants. I used to keep my nails painted.

Now, I don’t want to think about houses (yet I am in a situation where I am). I watch politics about 3 hours a week, an 1–2 hours on Sunday, and another 1–2 hours spread over the other 6 days of the week. I don’t care about food being great anymore, I just care that it isn’t extremely unhealthy. As far as my nails, I probably should start painting them again. I only paint my nails about once every 4–6 weeks, and in a week I have to remove the polish from my hands, my toes stay painted for that long. I keep them trimmed fairly short in between.

I’m fine with most of it. I am in the mode to simplify. At least in my mind I am.
