I heard on the radio this morning that her mental health issues are getting in the way of her working. She was going to go back to Las Vegas for another residency but now that’s not happening. It’s sad that her issues are affecting her work to this degree. She may fade off into oblivion or do second rate show locations in the future.

Haven’t heard anything from her in a while. The last time I remember her having a hit was three years ago. Still not bad though.

For women of a certain age (late 20s/early 30s), she continues to be an icon. Her fans are devoted to her.

I am not a fan, though, so to me it is a sad story on fame and celebrity, but not one I will lose sleep over.

I am not a fan, but I am saddened by her story. I thought that working in Las Vegas was going to be a permanent gig for her, like it is for Wayne Newton.

Due to her mental health issues, the courts appointed her was as her conservator, putting him in charge of her finances. Now the story is that her father has become ill, and she has asked to terminate the conservatorship. She cancelled her hotel contract and checked back into rehab. I hope things work out for her.
