Have you ever been in a heavy rain shower and not gotten very wet?

Many times and I usually welcome the experience, especially during the dog days of summer.

I love the rain. We so rarely get rain here in Southern California, that me and my other rain loving friends have been known to run out of the house in bare feet to experience the rain, and take pictures to prove that it actually rained.

Yes, my butler held the golf umbrella over me as I left the front entrance & stepped into the Bentley.

All the time.

I guess if the rain were falling straight down I might not get so wet, but it seems that if I’m out in the rain for any protracted period of time, my shoes and pants get soaked. Especially if it’s raining sideways (which it was the last time I was out in heavy rain).

That’s why they invented the poncho
