Do seniors play Dungeons and Dragons in retirement homes?
Or will they when the next generation ages into the system?
When I turn 65 in 24 years I hope so. I don’t want to make macaroni art all day.

It is conceivable that resident retirement communities could play role playing games. You can become a resident when you turn 55 (one resident in the apartment or cottage must be at least 55)—some are getting fairly youngish residents for retirement communities.
Residents at retirement communities are not confined to their retirement community, either. So even if you couldn’t find enough people interested there, you could probably find people elsewhere. I’d welcome playing role playing gams in a retirement community, as there is plenty of time and lots of spaces. The social dynamics I see, support a lot of interests.
You don’t turn 65 for 24 years, unless you lied about your 40th last year.
But yes, maybe when your generation retires there will be senior DnD clubs. I just saw a video over the weekend of Stephen Colbert playing against some DnD super wizard.
@zenvelo I’m 41 now. Birthday is in July.
Picture this generation when they hit their elderly years.
Be all selfies & trout pouts, slut drops & popped hips…a sobering thought.
You CAN enter a retirement community at 55.
Most people don’t want to at that age. But there are several I have looked at that are more like resorts. Some residents are too old to be in the normal social circles of 50-year-olds but some have most of their residents in their sixties and seventies—which really isn’t all THAT OLD now—younger than the parents of people in their 50s.
