Sure, why not? Why do you ask?
Depends on the nail color and the woman. Hot pink wouldn’t talk to me….
As a senior with many senior women for friends, I see NO reason they shouldn’t paint their nails!!! The only color that puts me off is the flaming red paint & even then I feel that IF they like it, it’s OK with me. It’s just not a color that I would choose. I prefer the more neutral colors but that could have something to do with the way I was raised. I personally prefer the neutral colors that Queen Elizabeth & Princess Kate use…matches everything that they wear.
I think so, much more age-appropriate than longer nails at that age.
Myself, I prefer a more natural look with neutrals, pastels or no paint, just well-tended, moisturized and healthy real nails.
What age do you consider “senior”?
I started receiving my Senior Citizens discount 15 years ago so I guess I’m officially there!!!
@LadyMarissa I consider myself a senior at 46 already. There are so many societal norms for anyone over 40, I just said I’ll go ahead and do them now…lol (no long hair, no mini dresses, etc….)
Why should senior women not have short painted nails? As my grandmother would say (about many things), “There’s no law against it.”
Age has no restriction on making yourself feel & look good & damn right too.
Sure. Plus, even if it doesn’t, who cares, let them wear whatever they want.
I prefer the French Manicure..its more natural , but not using false nails, natural..if and when I can grow them slightly longer than I have now.
