He will not escape.

Probably my sisters. I hope they’ll always know me well.

It has changed. I would say in the last 15 years it is my husband. Before that probably my sister.

It would have to be my brother closest to me in age.

It has changed, now it is my wife, before it was close friends. I’m still close with one of them but we don’t get together and hang out near as much anymore.

My brother and my best friend come close (my parents know me pretty well too, but not quite on their level). It used to be clear that it was my brother, he’s my twin after all. But now that he lives so far away from me, my best friend has been getting to know me a little bit more to the point where the things I would only tell my brother I now feel okay telling my best friend.

No one has ever understood who I am, yet all seem think they have me figured out.

The people who should know me best, know me least.

I would say without a doubt Mrs Squeeky, after that would be my parents which both are still very much alive.

@gondwanalon Ditto. I would like to think my Mom did, but she also accused me of some insane, off the wall things that I would never, in a million years, do. That hurt. A lot.

One good man has understood me and what makes me tick, we’re good friends and have been for decades.

@gondwanalon I feel ya on that.

My aunt until she moved away when I was sixteen. Then, my wife, whom I met when I was sixteen — two weeks after my aunt left.

It has changed a lot over time. For the last 15 years it has been my husband. I thought my ex husband did as well, looking back, I am not so sure.
Another person that knew me very well was my older sister. She died last year and it devastated me.
